The "Kupa-Sava Grain trade route" is financed by the European Union through IPA program of cross – border cooperation `Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina 2007-2013` and it is implemented in the northwest B-H and central Croatia.
The main partners in the project are the Republic Agency for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (B-H) and the Municipality of Pokupsko (Croatia). The implementation partners are the Tourist Organization of the Republic of Srpska and the Association for Supporting Sustainable Development "Greenways" while the partners in Croatia are the City of Karlovac, tourist communities of Sisak-Moslovina County and Brod-Posavina County, Karlovac County, Karlovac Canton Development Agency - KARLA and the Association "Zvono uz Kupu".
The total value of the Project is EUR 655,352.13 of which EUR 351,690.25 for Croatia and EUR 303,661.88 for B-H.
The overall objective of the Project is to contribute to the creation of a common economic space for the improvement of living conditions in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and to promote the project region as a unique tourist destination.
Target groups are municipalities and cities in the cross-border region; tourist communities, organizations and agencies; development agencies; the private sector and civil society organizations involved in tourism and catering; family farms with the potential for tourism.
